Ian and I were talking about the creation of mutual social space and the types of change this can inspire in people. How would you create a community, distribute work, and make everything function?

Living in a coop may help answer this question, but for now I think people should get together based on their own network, and buy a city block, demolish the interior and build a park/assembly hall/stage, and maybe attempt to change the space of the local environment a bit. Other directions to take?
